Mixed Voice - Community Choir

Welcome to Amber Valley Voices!

Amber Valley Voices is a four part harmony, mixed, community choir performing a range of music styles including  classical pieces, musical theatre, gospel, folk and contemporary.

There are around 80 of us and we all love to sing. We cater for those who have never sung a note before as well as those who have plenty of experience.

The choir currently rehearses in St. Andrews Church, Derby Road, Swanwick.
Covid precautions are observed and are under continuous review.

We are conducted by our Music Director, Angie Cope and accompanied by Chris Lawry on piano.

Interested in singing with us?
There are no scary auditions, but please note that new members are only inducted every half term/full term (same as school terms).

Want us to sing for you?
We receive many requests to sing for good causes etc and, although we can’t do them all, will be happy to discuss your wishes when Covid considerations allow.

SUPPORTING GOOD CAUSES. AVV community choir actively supports good causes; including generous donations from concert takings to various charities. We are also grateful for the support of a number of local grants including the cheque shown in the above picture.
