Amber Valley Voices is a mixed voice community choir open to anyone without audition, whether experienced or a complete newcomer to singing.
We meet on Monday evenings, in term time, from 7.30pm to 9.15pm at Swanwick Sports college, The Delves, Swanwick, Derbyshire.
The choir was establised in 2014 and has grown from a handful of people to around 100 members. We sing a wide range of music from classical to modern, show tunes to folk melodies, gospel and soul.
Both an accompanied and a cappella choir, we perform two public concerts a year (with a variety of soloists and guests) and a small number of events when invited, but no member is expected to take part, it is purely voluntary.
